Have changed the workflow for new members. Today we have changed the way of how to subscribe to groups. Each member, who wants to join a group, needs to be confirmed manually now.
I hope that this will solve the problem. Sorry for the issues. If we still get spammed, you might want to turn off your notifications until the problem is resolved...
