I am on a show shooting with Sony Venice and suddenly pur A camera has started to malfunction. The fan turns on even when we are recording. We have set the mode on "REC OFF/MAX so it can cool down between takes. But on takes that are 3 minutes long the fan turns on mid take.

I spoke to the rental house and they say to reset the camera and we got production to get us some cooling bags. Temperatures on both cameras are identical but only the A cam is having this problem.

Has anyone had this problem? Is there a setting in the menu that I can't find that would make the fan trigger after a certain temperature? Or is it the camera body that should be sent to be fixed
