The test was carried out on February 16, 2024 using electronic diagnostic tools at the ARRI certified center in Moscow - BARS PRO. It has been determined that the electronic horizon indication does not work. The BARS PRO service concluded that the K4.0003524 PCB-CPM2-AM-PLACED board is not working; the electronic horizon sensor is installed on this board.

In a straight position, the camera horizon shows -35 degrees about the roll. It is noteworthy that in the roll position -90, the electronic horizon shows a roll -90...

Double flashing didn't help

Service comment:

“The approximate cause of the defect is degradation of the parameters of the electronic horizon sensor during operation.

Repair is possible only by replacing the board assembly at the manufacturer's factory."

It is noteworthy that after sending it to another service and disassembling the camera, the electronic horizon sensor on the K4.0003524 PCB-CPM2-AM-PLACED board was not found. Further disassembly of the camera was considered too risky. Presumably the electronic horizon sensor is located near the matrix.
