WCU4/Alexa Mini/Cooke s5i question
Is there an issue that I’m unaware of where Cooke i lenses just don’t work with the WCU4 prénseles rings? If I actually use the lens Mount (rather than turning off the lens Mount and using files) I get the correct info digitally but the pre-marked rings don’t line up and can’t be changed. All my personal WCU4 stuff is up to date on firmware as is the camera body. Current lens mount software is 1.85. (not sure if that is current- couldn’t find that info online.

Hey everyone, just as a heads up that Cooke have started updating their /i protocol to include lens scales on top of the actual lens barrel position, which was the missing factor that prevented proper data on our systems and the ability to use premarked rings. Newer lenses such as the Cooke Panchro /i Classic FF lenses do work with our systems, for example. Cooke are also able to do firmware updates on some older lenses to support this, best to have a chat directly with them about that though.
