LDA on Arri AMC-1
Hey guys,
I'm wondering if the AMC-1 radio device can handle lens metadata (LDA) sent from a Hi-5 or a WCU-4. I've been working with a unit this week and it looks like I'm not able to load a LDA into the system. Such a big disappointment if that's the case, as I am able to daysichain 3x motors but I can't know which values I'll have on each!

Hey Hector, the AMC-1 does not support lens data. It will support camera control with ARRI cameras, and run/stop with others, but lens data was never a feature. The UMC-4 was the tool, at the time, for that. RIA-1 or cforce mini RF are the current-generation tools for that.
