We're happy to announce the introduction of our new Zoom Control - the ARRI ZMU-4. It's our fourth generation zoom controller and now offers LBUS and CAM connectivity, camera control for ARRI and third party cameras, access to all three ARRI Radio Modules for use as a wireless device and more. I've prepared a new Tech Talk and go in depth on the unit itself, as well as how you can get the most out of it. Of particular interest is the combination of ZMU-4 + OCU-1 or Master Grips, which can be used as a standalone, 2-axis wireless hand unit with full LDS and user button support. This in combination with the RF-2400 or RF-900 modules will be a great tool for DPs or DITs choosing to work from a tent or other location further from the camera.

Another interesting setup is using the ZMU-4 as a radio Host - so as a radio receiver rather than transmitter. This is very similar to the way that the RIA-1 works, and will give you the option of running a more lightweight handheld setup without having an additional box (such as the RIA-1), albeit with the limitation of no serial port, so an LCUBE will be required.
