Mini LF bug. Camera repeat rell number.
@ARRI Official
Some weeks ago, shoting with Mini LF (FW6.0.22) after format a card, the camera repeat the rell number. I'm completely sure, isn't a human error because we don't have way to change reel setup with that configuration.
We are using camera body without viewfinder and web or app remote, just connected to a WCU4.
We formatted the card with function buttons convination, seen on SDI out the message "formatting card".
The camera after format it, put to the new card the same reel number of the previous card (A007 on this case). We don't take of or re-insert previous card or any other operation. Just take off original A007, put new unformatted card, format it with functions buttons (Fn+2 -> press 3 two times) and after that record from WCU4.
The new reel was exact the same A007, we don't saw the problem up to go with second A007 card to data manager...was a proyect with a lot of post, and was a problem for post workflow.
@ARRI Official you know about this issue?
Is a big bug.
Talking with some colleagues, one say me than saw the same bug on Mini LF before, he was lucky of saw before shot again, correcting the reel number manually before use the new card.

I understand but the second card never used rell A007 before, the existing card name was A004, and the card on computer don’t show extra folders or files. Just A007 files.
Parashoot is a good idea for force a correct card format.
In this particular case, we don't use viewfinder and never plug it on the proces, so we don't have way for change reel number manually.
Thanks.
