RS cable for Cforce mini RF to Venice.
Starting a job next month where I'll be using a Venice with Cforce mini RF and system.
ARRI has a cable made to connect to F55/Venice (K2.0018814) that is CAM on one end and hirose/p-tap on the other. However, I've also been told that the CAM to RS cable (K2.0015754) will work f run/stop and tally as well.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Just trying to figure out if I need to buy the $340 cable or if the $210 one will do.

Hi Jackson, We are working on a SUP for the RF motor to allow the use of the CMotion cable you mentioned for camera control with the Sony Remote License for the Hi-5. I do not have an ETA of when it will be released but it will bring support to the CMotion cable and we will all offer it as a K2. cable direct from ARRI as well at that time. Until then the 4P Hirose Y cable is the recommend official option for the Venice 1.
