CamTools, 3D Printed Tools for the Camera Department
Hey everyone! I wanted to share something I've been working on alongside my career as an Assistant Camera.
I'm a professional AC and, like many of you, I've always been obsessed with organization and problem-solving on set. A few years ago I started combining that obsession with 3D printing, and it slowly turned into something bigger than I expected.
I've just launched my Cults3D profile — 3D-CamTools — where I publish pro-grade 3D printed accessories designed specifically for the Camera Department.

Every model is field-tested on real productions with ARRI, RED, Tilta, Teradek and more. Some are free, others are available at a very accessible price.
If you're tired of zip-tying things together or spending a fortune on accessories for niche problems — this might save you some headaches on your next shoot.

They're nice and all but almost all of these have free counterparts available already, some being almost exactly the same, some being even better 🤷♂️ Available here, and on model sharing sites like Printables, Makerworld, Thingiverse etc. Only a couple of those I haven't seen before.
