Hey everyone,
It’s been a while. I’ve been busy working on a new project: a web-based Camera Flow app for production. It’s slowly coming together, and I wanted to share a quick sneak preview of what it can do.
Camera Flow is designed to help you manage your projects, inventory, and everything you need from prep to production. It includes a built-in database of over 1,000 rental houses worldwide and a default product list with more than 700 items. Of course, you can also create your own products, kits, or cables.
On the project page, you can create projects, assign team members, and add equipment. You can also build multiple camera setups using the camera builder. Once your kit is ready, you can easily export it as a PDF, Excel, or CSV file to share with a rental house or production.
Upcoming features will include call sheets and other useful documents.
If you have any feature requests or ideas for what you’d like to see, please let me know in the comments or reach out directly. I’m gathering all suggestions to build the best tool I can.
If all goes well, I plan to open a beta in September. If you’re interested in joining, please comment below.
One more thing: I’m also planning for rental houses to share their equipment lists directly in the app. For that, I’ll need some sample data to finalize the CSV format for uploads. If you run a rental house or know one that might want to be among the first featured in the app, please get in touch.
I’ve included a quick demo video below. It’s rough and unpolished for now—thanks for your understanding.
