Front lens element diameter on Arri/Zeiss UP 24mm T1.9
Hi,
I'm attending a commercial shoot next week: My DP plans to use an Arri Ultra Prime 24mm T1.9 in combination with a kaleidoscopic filter (see picture 01 of the desired effect below).

However this filter comes in a 77mm dia. screw-in "photography" version only (see Picture 02 below).

I can't find any proper 4x4/ 4x5.65 or equivalent as a Kaleidoscope filter. I thought of hitting up Vantage Film, as they usually have some more funky kind filters. The rental staff couldn't help me on this one though.
So I guess we'll be going for the photography version of that filter. The issue here is that the filter has a diameter of 77mm. Now I need to know what the front lens diameter of the Ultra Prime 24mm is? Not the whole lens (glass + housing) front diameter. Just the front glass element's dia.. From what I see on several pics of the UP 24mm (see picture 03 below),

the front lens element diameter seems to be smaller than our filter. However I need to make sure, the filter really does cover the full front lens (aka field of view).
Does anyone have some info on that? Help is highly appreciated.
My idea would be to rig/ grip the filter to one of the camera's rods with a Noga Arm and two nano clamps or similar (see reference picture 04 below)

You can use black tack to stick a 77-72 adapter on the lens barrel and then you will be able to screw the filter in and out. I did this for a similar setup and it worked.
