Sigma Video Pentafinder/Directors viewfinder
Hello all,
I am just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. The director on the next job is looking a digital pentafinder and he's asked for one he's used before, made by sigma he thinks, that he was able to feed into a clamshell. Basically he wants to use it during blockings and watch it back. Can't seem to find exactly what he's looking for. Anyone seen one before? Used one before?

My concern is how particular the Director / DP is over field of view:
If they want it very very close then you might find yourself having to figure out the difference in pixel pitch and resolution between the Sigma fp and your intended format then create custom scaled framelines for the Sigma / Monitor (assuming either can do this).
Of course the look will be a lot closer as you’ll have the correct lens on and an approximately correctly sized sensor vs a phone, but you’ll have to assess if this juice is worth the squeeze or not.
