Wrist injuries
Is anyone else getting a sore wrist from focus pulling?
in 2020 I did a bunch of live music jobs where I'd be pulling for 3 hours at a time, an hours break then 3 more hours solid.
After about 8 shows like this over 2 months I had a lot of pain in my right wrist, causing me to switch to leftie for about a month.
I've been stretching and resting it as much as possible. Doing some supporting exercises and keeping active. It's doing much better now but it's still not right.
Does anybody else have something similar? How are people taking care of their wrists to not get repetitive strain?
Or am I just over gripping the wheel and contorting my wrist weirdly?

I can relate, I broke my wrist as a teenager and the mobility never fully came back. So the ergonomics of my setups are always important. I try to change positions and have a confortable setup when I'm pulling with my monitor on a stand. And I have the battery and teradek on my waist when I do run and gun. But the main thing that works for me is the cPro. I feel that the center of gravity is really well balanced compared to everything else. Since I got it I didn't have any wrist problems. I came in for someone else on a shoot last year and had to use a wcu4. After a week my wrist was killing me. I found a way to bring my remote on the job and everything came back to normal. I guess it depends on your physionomy, but the cPro really does the job for me. Hope that helps!
