What are your favorite fastening tools, either on the camera or on the hand unit? fasteningtools mounting By Clemens Hönig on 6/19/19, 11:51 AM • 1,017 views Share your favorite fastening tools and let others now, why and how you use it:

Aidan Gray On 6/20/19, 4:17 PM If we're talking camera rigging, my go-to pieces of hardware are my Bright Tangerine 19mm bridge plate, Bright Tangerine 3/8-16 15mm rod mount, Cinematic Precision 15mm rod mount, my Jerry Hill EVF relocater bracket, and now my Cmotion PAM brackets.  These really allow me to rig up any camera in a way that is efficient to jump between setups and pleasant to use.  I'm split invested in Wooden Camera nato locks and 16x9 Cinelocks - I use Cinelocks on my Monitor and handunit, as well as on my focus stand, but on the camera I used NATO rails. To mount my hand unit to my stand, I have it attached to a Manfrotto "Tilt Top Head" in a Mafer that is still the most solid arm of its kind that I've used - I can literally pickup a stand with sandbags by the arm.

Gunnar Mortensen On 2/23/20, 8:08 PM Anything from cleanscamerasupport.com or ratworks.com I love my bright tangerine Titan arm. Lately I have been getting into using 15mm rods and PVIR15 brackets to cut down on moving pieces and also cut down on tolerances.

Love the 15mm rods solution as well. My hand unit got much smaller since I swapped to them. Here a version of the "Joe-hand unit" developed by a Berlin cameraman/steadycam operator. He came up with a super quick lock system also based on 15mm spuds. So small you barely see them.
