Anyone ever try hard wiring a pan bar zoom control to their handunit? I understand the zoom axis is usually controlled via the joystick controller on the HU but I'm trying to give an OP nearby my focus station control and I don't have another cmotion hand unit. 

 HU====lbus====pan bar controller.

Thinking I might not be getting enough power out of the handunit, the pan bar works as it should except actually driving the motor. I have the joystick axis on my handunit turned off.

I'll probably just end up going the wireless route with a camin connected to panbar contoller and rf motor on the zoom gear on camera but I wanted to see if this was possible.
