Power to the motors

I have a question about providing power to the motors. I am running a Cpro with a Cpro RF motor and a Cforce mini motor. I am currently running the EXT to CAM cable to provide camera control, run/stop and power to the motors. I also have a LBUS cable running to the Lens mount LBUS port for DATA and lens info etc. My question is will the motors take power from both the EXT port and the LBUS port? If so would this be enough power to power 2 Cforce mini motors and the RF motor with out adding a Y cable to provide power?

Hi Olly, The motors will receive power from both the LBUS and EXT ports yes, and while it’s possible to run 3 motors using that configuration if you need to have the torque settings up then you’ll probably face the issue Hector described. You might consider the new 7P Cam to 8P / D-Tap split cable (C0XE-K15). It’s lengths are: 7P Cam — (45cm) — Split — (15cm) — 8P — (30cm) — D-Tap Hope this helps.
