Hello my knob twisting friends,

I am, once again, toying with the idea of picking up the cvision for a rangefinder along with the control unit. I just don't know how I could mount that enormous ipad looking thing with my 1303 in a user friendly way. Anyone have one and have some mounting pics or ideas to share?

Haven't picked it up yet, just curious how those who have it use it and how they mount the unit and control screen.

Ccurrently on a job, have the CineRT display on my hi5 and it keeps disappearing, I still have the range on the tracker handset so it’s not the RT.

I put a Dtap to Lbus into the Lcube as well as the Lbus into the MiniLF.

Any suggestions to getting it back up?

Hey everyone! Figured this was the best place to ask the question, but basically as the post says what is everyone's thoughts between these two rangefinders?

I have a cPro + and I love it. Got a good workflow going but of course we always want to look to the next expansion of the kit. I'm still digging through the demo videos from the Chaos show. In fact, watching the cVision stuff actually put it back in the mix for me because I was sold on the FocusBug but now I'm back to thinking it over.

What I like about the cVision is the depth map -- but it's a pro and a con with adding another monitor to my 1303 that I have to mount and move around. I like the integration with the c motion workflow that I have though. Seems like a good overall tool to find…

We have released a new rangefinder mount which has a pivoting base that lets you rotate your rangefinder assembly for access to filters & lenses etc. No recalibration required since it will return to the exact same position.

Compatible with our Misfit Kick using our rail or ARRI LMB accessory rail.

For mounting off the matte box, you can use the ARRI ARS-1/2/3, onto the top handle for example.
