3 Camera Handheld Director Monitor
I've just finished the 1st block on a 4 block shoot. I'm looking for a better directors monitor setup, as currently it is bulky, heavy and messy. We have 3 cameras, but most of the time only need the feeds from 2.
As it is I had 2x 703's mounted 1 on top of the other, a battery on each, then the receivers just on magic arms. When it was 3 cameras we just added the 3rd receiver and split the 2nd monitor to 2 feeds. This becomes very heavy and messy very quickly, especially with moving around so much.
I'd love to see how others have done this and any suggestions or mounting accessories to make it better.

I haven't got any pictures of it unfortunately but it was quite literally just 2 SmallHD 703's (the non bolt ones) stacked together with a cinelock, then Vaxis Storm receivers. It did work, it's just not very tidy and is very heavy.
If you've got 2 703 Bolts you could do the same thing and it'd be much neater with the built in RX, and you could power the 2nd one with the power passthrough on the SmallHD so you only need 1 battery (may need to test that as I think the passthrough only works if the monitor is powered by a Lemo cable, not using the built on backplate.)
