I’m on set with a panavised Mini Lf (no LBus port) and CForce RF. I have the motor connected to the camera via CAM - EXT cable, but if I am correct this port can only supply 1A of current. I’d like the option to supply extra power at the end of the LBus chain, but any time I try this I get an over-current warning on the camera, and the EXT port is disabled. I’ve tried P tap and XLR cables, with the same result.

The full chain is: Mini LF EXT - CForce RF CAM, then LBus to CForce Mini, to Lcube with CineTape. trying to inject power to the second LBus port on the LCube.

Am I doing something wrong?

Furthermore, is there any way to get lens data on the camera SDI overlay using this setup? Seems like the CForce RF won’t pass lens info to the camera over EXT.
