Rencher Mini Production Router
Does anybody have experience with the Rencher mini production router with a SmallHD cine7 or any camera control monitor? I bought one to control camera settings from my focus monitor but have been having issues with signal. I'm using an Alexa mini and have it on host mode and have the router on the monitor but l'm losing signal constantly. I’ve asked rencher but they told me to ask other peers in the focus pulling community… anyway, I’m wondering I need to buy two of these and keep one on the camera and one on my monitor to get a stronger signal or if I should put a signal booster on the mini. Any ideas?

In my experience the inbuilt wifi on the mini is pretty poor- I normally stick a router on camera and connect to that with a tablet, with the camera in client mode.
I use the GL-AR750, but I think GL.iNet have some cheaper gigabit options these days (not sure if you need gigabit for Arri- I set this up for a Red epic a few years back)
The rencher router is basically just one of the GL.inet ones with a nice housing and a voltage step down- a bit of dual lock and a usb port gets around this.
