A canless free solution? Nitecore Blowerbaby review
After a long wait, I finally received the Blowerbaby from Nitecore.
Nitecore is known for their "pro-sumer" based products in the photography and they claim to be the first electronic photography blower on the market.
This state is not completely true, because there are several brands on the market like the Hurricane that already have a product-range selling similar products. These products are in an upper price-range in comparison to the one from Nitecore.
In this article i'll be reviewing my POV about the Nitecore Blowerbaby only.
When purchasing the Babyblower, you'll notice an pretty nice unboxing experience.

Decent packaging seems like a decent product right? Well, inside the box you'll find the unit itself and a USB-C charging cable. The filter can be swapped for the optional sensor cleaning filter when using the unit to blow on your camera-sensor. I would never recommend doing this, but they state this would not do any damage.
The Blowerbaby is built really solid, out of aluminum and feels very strong. The unit is powered on with a little button below the unit and has an LED light to indicate charging stages.
Imo the button is placed a bit akward because it seems more logical to turn on the unit from the top-side when in use. The unit does not turn on immediately, when pressing the button. This gives me a rather "slow sensation" when needing air asap.
Charging speeds are fine.
On the spec-side they claim to reach speeds up to 70km/hr. I could not test this, but the output feels "okay" but when in use on set I do notice that the output is rather small when trying to use it on smaller electronics and more stubborn dust particles, this due to the output and the "big" nozzle.
I think it would be better if they would narrow the nozzle a bit more to have a more directional airflow.
My final thoughts:
The Nitecore Blowerbaby is not really intented for those smaller -hard-to-reach- spots in the camera-dept. but rather a nice addition to your kit for cleaning up monitors and larger surfaces.

The unit sells for around 65 euro's and the additional CMOS filter for around 7euro's.

Thanks this saves me a bad buy! 💪🏻
