Also Is there any news of an additional marks function beyond the 3 available?
It would also be incredibly helpful to have some sort of video overlay that allows us to see the focus scale and range finder position.
Both of those would be great additions. Video overlay system would have my money in a heartbeat. I'm also hoping the marks function comes to the other view modes on screen. Personally, I usually use the circle style readout, especially when using a rangefinder. I would really appreciate having the marks function available in that mode.
There are some other quirks that I hope will be addressed soon. Most notably the behavior of the premarked rings and iris strips. They frequently reset back to blank, and the behavior has gotten worse since getting the data license. Resets to blank after mapping a lens, changing lens data, or power cycling. I've learned to check it regularly but it is quite frustrating and inconsistent.
I've also had those issues recently. The DATA license feature is awesome, but there are still some issues to correct. First off, that thing about resetting premarked rings and strips, and also correcting minimal distance focus. Sometimes when you're at close focus, the data license shows innacurate and opposite values of the focus distance.
@Eric Ugland That's EXACTLY what happens to me with some lenses. Only difference is that I use the metric system but it happens the same way. I hope the Cmotion team can fix this feature in the near future. It's not a critical flaw but if it ever happened that VFX would need the metadata for their needs, that would blow up the utility of the DATA license on close focus shots.
We are currently working on the marker functions and some new features for the visualization as well.

@Hector Julian I've had the same issue. The numbers are accurate for about 80% of the knob, but at close focus they jump to high numbers.

Thank you for the response!
Good to hear!
More than three would be great, also you can’t put marks within close distznce to each other, so making them “thinner” could be great
