Recently using my cPro on an optimo 36-435 full frame and was hoping to utilize the motor limits function for certain portions of the zoom where I wanted more range in the knob on the long part of the lens. I wasn't able to get this functioning...but am I right in assuming the motor limits function means you pick the portion of the lens (say 50 foot to 100 foot) and then the entire knob's throw becomes that range? for specificity: I held down the limits button, turned the wheel from 50 to 100 but didn't get the desired limiting effect.
There is a small bug in the limit function, which sets the limits to motor/control as a default setting. To change that, go into the control menu, set the limit to motor/control first and then go back and change it to motor limits again.
Hope that helps,
Still having issues with this. My workflow is: go into limits, select monitor/crtl, do I then exit the menu or do I select monitor/crtl and then immediately select motor?
