Hi all @ focuspulleratwork.
I recently became interested in 3D printed accessories for assistants. I came across FilmFrogs Teradek Bolt Bro brackets (https://www.shapeways.com/product/6SFVMU3LH/teradek-bolt-pro-bracket-fanless-rx-for-tv-logic?optionId=23758811&li=shops) and also @Mathis Giebeler's version on his instagram and decided to make my own version.
I designed it in Fusion 360 and modelled it specifically to fit a 500XT RX as that's the model of Teradek I own. I ended up buying an Ender 3 v2 and printing it myself rather than sending the file to a printer. It took about 3 weeks of trial/error/redesigning until I got a working version.
I never would have been able to start this process from knowing nothing about 3D modelling and printing to making my own 3D printed part without the help of the community on here, especially @Aidan Gray's post on 3D printing in the blogs.
I've attached photos to this post!
I also designed a battery plate that utilises a SWIT NPF battery plate, a voltmeter, a hardwired mini XLR cable and a 2pin lemo connector port for powering the Teradek via 2pin-2pin lemo cable.
